Today 23 March the moon was seen in Jerusalem from the mount of Olives at 6:14 PM by Nehemiah Gordon and shortly thereafter by Keith Johnson and Jocelyn Carabello. We didn't see the Moon from the Old City.

Aviv barley was not found until now in Jerusalem, therefore we don't know yet if this is the first month of the year .
